My client wants the following loaded on the front page...

A section of &#039;Welcome&#039; text followed by the list of categories from the groupjive component followed by another few paragraphs of text. 

Here&#039;s what I did...

I set the groupjive menu link to number 1 so it would automatically become the homepage. Then I created two simple custom modules, one for each of the two sections of text. I then set both the text modules to only show while on the front page which is technically the groupjive page.

The problem is when a user clicks on a group category to expose the groups the text still appears even though they aren&#039;t on the front page anymore. You can see my test site here and it will make sense. Just click on one of the categories and keep drilling down. You&#039;ll see the text present on all pages ...

I understand why this is happening but I&#039;m not sure about a way around this.

BTW.. I&#039;m using Joomla 1.0.15

I apologize if this is unorthodox but I can&#039;t get any input on the joomla boards and I&#039;m stumped.
