Hello,
this module looks very very nice.
But there is something I don’t understand : if there is no ‘read more’ link in the article, images are not displayed?
Is there a way to avoid this?

This module is exactly what I need to convert my custom HTML modules to content items on my site – BUT – it doesn’t work with a plugin I want to use.

I’m running the Sexybookmarking plugin and when I run it I get errors.

“JHTMLicon not supported. File not found.”

I found a partial fix online that gets rid of the eroor messages – but still the bookmarks do not disply as they should.

Any solution for this?

I have been using this module with a lot of success and I really appreciate however I have not been able to use the module with the search module. How can I display search results using this module?

Hi Eike,

Back on April 14 you responded to a post where I asked about the background color for the PlaceHere module. I’m just now getting back to that on my list.

I just wanted to say that the fix you gave me then WORKED! Thanks SO much. I’m a happy camper now and still loving your module.

Hi Dianne, thank you for the kind words….

The place here module uses the css classes “odd” and “even”. These are already defined in your style sheet, so the module inherits the background colour from the stylesheet k2.css. You can add a line to your stylesheet like

.mod_placehere .even { background-color: #fff !important; }

to set the background to white.

Hi there,

I absolutely LOVE the “place here” module. I’ve used it in more places than I can count on the website I’m currently building. It works like a charm and gave a beginner something to work with when the rest of Joomla was SO confusing.

I’m almost done building the site and doing some “housekeeping”. My “place here” modules have a yellow background in them and I’m not sure where that’s coming from. I’ve looked for CSS in the module folder but don’t see any. I see folders related to Beez but haven’t found what I’m looking for yet.

I want to make the yellow background white and am not sure where to look. Can you help?

Almost perfect for me but have small glitch. Can’t get the Read More option to appear. Using a custom template but got same results when switching back to default. Tried toggling most options, including the one named ’show intro only’. Using latest Joomla version (1.5x). Any ideas?
