The latest version of “mod_placehere” (content item module for J!1.5) apparently does not work for a number of people (for production you can still use the previous version), and I have to say that I do not know why. I’ve spent the day with attempts to find the flaw, but didn’t find it.
So if you download the module I would ask you to first try the latest version; if this doesn’t work please write a comment or a mail with your Joomla Version, PHP Version and MySql Version. A Screenshot of your module settings would be nice, too.

I think I removed that error (well, notice actually) in the most recent version http://diebesteallerzeiten.de/blog/wp-content/uploads/2008/03/mod_placehere_v122.zip (the module didn’t query the groups table when looking for uncategorized content). Try to overwrite the files with the news ones (if that doesn’t help give a note and I will fix it).

1.2.1 is obsolete, try the latest version (1.2.2).

Really looking forward to developments with mod_placehere – i am one of those having problems using it. I will replicate problem on test site and send info. Production version is great in 1.5.9.
